I can confirm that University of the Southwest head women’s basketball coach Timm Dixon has resigned and will become the men’s coach at the school.
Before joining the Mustang WBB program, Dixon spent four seasons as the head women’s basketball coach at Missouri Valley College. He has served as an assistant coach at NCAA Division I schools Idaho State, Arizona State University, Grand Canyon University and NJCAA schools Pima Community College, Glendale (Ariz.) Community College, and South Mountain Community College.
Dixon will replace Charles Goar who had spent the past four seasons as the Mustang’s head coach.
An official announcement is expected shortly.
