Morris Completes Air Force Staff

Air Force women’s basketball head coach Andrea Williams has announced the final piece of the Falcons’ coaching staff, with the addition of Lori Morris as an assistant coach. Morris comes to the Academy from Cal State Fullerton, where she spent the last season as an assistant coach for the Titans.

Prior to her stint at Cal State Fullerton, Morris spent four seasons on the women’s basketball staff at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, including three as the Associate Head Coach, overseeing team defense and academic progress as well as assisting with the program’s recruiting efforts.

Morris also spent one season as the head coach at Southwestern Junior College, as well as 20 years as the head varsity basketball coach at Montgomery High School in San Diego (1987-2007). She helped lead the Aztecs to a share of the South Bay League title and a CIF San Diego Section Division II runner-up finish in 2007, earning CIF Coach of the Year honors and a berth in the California state playoffs.
