Morehead State Athletics has announced it will begin a national search for its next head women’s basketball coach.
Chris Palmer, who served as the interim head coach for the 2024-25 season, will not be retained as the full-time head coach.
“We are grateful for the leadership and dedication Chris Palmer has shown in his role as interim head coach,” said Director of Athletics Kelly Wells. “His contributions have been invaluable, and we wish him nothing but success in his future endeavors. As we look ahead, we are excited about the potential and growth of Morehead State women’s basketball and the opportunities that lie ahead for the program.”
