Allison Kern has been named head women’s basketball coach at Misericordia University. Kern comes to Misericordia after spending four seasons as a full-time assistant coach at William Smith College in Geneva, NY. Prior to William Smith, Kern spent a year as an assistant coach at Hiram (OH) College.

Kern, who will also serve as coordinator of athletics facilities at MU, inherits a team that went 17-11 and won a Freedom Conference championship a year ago.
