Miami University women’s basketball coach Cleve Wright announced the addition of Patrick Henry as a new assistant coach on Friday. Henry, a native of Warner Robins, Ga., comes to the RedHawks with 13 years of experience assisting various collegiate programs.
Henry spent the past season as the video coordinator at Indiana. While with the Hoosiers, he helped handle film exchange and the filming of practice. He was responsible for creating recruiting presentations and materials that coaches used for home and official visits.
Prior to his time at Indiana, Henry was an assistant at Texas State for six seasons (2005-11). The last three seasons, he was the associate head coach. While with the Bobcats, he served as the team’s recruiting coordinator, helped develop offensive and defensive schemes and coordinated scouting reports.
