Following up on my TWEET from earlier today…

I have heard from multiple sources that David Caputo is out as the head women’s basketball coach at Delaware State. Caputo went 22-51 (.301) during his three seasons as the Lady Hornets head coach. Before taking over back in 2018, he had spent four seasons as the head coach at D2 Bloomfield, where he went 82-36 (.695). I have heard that Samera Marsh will serve as the interim head coach.

Also, Delaware State AD D. Scott Gines announced his retirement earlier today, and I have heard that DSU has made a change with their men’s basketball coach as well.
