Broward College has hired former Seahawk Mariah Reynolds as an assistant coach for the women’s basketball team. Reynolds returns to the Davie, Florida campus after graduating from Florida A&M University with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.
Reynolds played guard and forward from 2013-15 and completed her Associates degree in Education. She continued her career at Florida A&M University where she played in 2015-16.
“It is great to have a former player return to coach and mentor the next group of women’s basketball players at Broward College,” said head coach Brian McCormick. “As a recent Division 1 player, Mariah will be a great resource for our international sophomores who are going through the recruiting process for the first time.”
Since graduating, Reynolds has focused on basketball training to improve her craft. “I look forward to assisting the young women at Broward College achieve their goals within basketball and help condition them to become better athletes.”
Reynolds joins head coach Brian McCormick and previously-hired assistant coach Trellanie English-Lurry.
