Shareka Maner has been named as the new Head Women’s Basketball Coach at St. Andrews University (NC).
Maner is a Florida native who played basketball at the University of Maine from 2009-2012 before later transferring to Henderson State University (AR) her junior year. Maner was unable to play her senior year due to a ruptured Achilles.
Maner began her coaching career at Colby Community College (KS) as an Assistant Coach in 2017. During that 2017-18 season, Maner was promoted to Interim Head Coach.
The following season Maner became the Assistant Coach at Colorado Northwestern Community College (CO). In the 2019-20 season, Maner moved to Arizona to become the Assistant Coach at Cochise College.
Maner now comes to St. Andrews after being the Head Coach at Grays Harbor College (WA) last year.
Maner earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management in 2015 from Henderson State University. In 2017, Maner earned a Master of Science degree in Sports Administration from Henderson State.
