Former professional player and Southern Miss standout, Pauline Love has been named McNeese State’s women’s basketball assistant coach as announced by head coach Brooks Donald Williams. Love’s duties include on and off campus recruiting, social media director in recruiting and marketing of Cowgirl Basketball, assist in camps and clinics, scouting, skill development, on court coaching with both the post and guards and any other duties needed.
Love is a native of Luxora, Arkansas who spent three seasons at Southern Miss after a one year stint at Jones County Junior College.
Love went on to the next level following her collegiate career, playing for the WNBA’s Connecticut Sun in 2010 and the Cote d’Opale Basket Calais professional team in France during the 2010-11 season.
