Great Lakes Christian College and Great Lakes Christian College Athletic department announces the resignation of CB Long. Coach Long resigned his post after his final game on the sidelines for the Crusaders against CU Harrodsburg. Long won 9 games in his two year stint with GLCC. His highlight of the season came in the Mideast Regional Quarterfinal upsetting Grace Christian University at the Doty Center Thursday, February 23rd.

Coach Westerlund said this about Coach Long, “We appreciate Coach Long for his time, effort and energy he put into the program the last two years. I wish him the best in his future endeavors. I appreciate he left the Women’s Basketball program better than where he found it at.” Westerlund went on to say about the coaching search, “We have job to do to fill this position, transitions are never easy but I am hopeful we will find the right leader for the this program to take us into this new era of GLCC Women’s Basketball.
