Kleiner Joins Knox College Women’s Basketball Coaching Staff

Kasey Kleiner has been hired as the new assistant women’s basketball coach at Knox College.

“I am thrilled to have Coach Kleiner join our coaching staff,” said head coach Emily Cline. “She has coached and played at a high level and has tremendous Division III experience. I am looking forward to working with her and seeing what we can accomplish together.”

Kleiner comes to Knox from Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin where she assisted the last two years. She was also the head JV coach. Kleiner also previously held a graduate assistant position with the Lady Reds for the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons.

Between her stints at Carthage, Kleiner spent a season as an assistant coach/head JV coach with Culver Stockton College in Canton, Missouri.

Kleiner is a member of the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and is USA Weight Lifting Certified.
As a player at Carthage, Kleiner was a team captain and was named All-Conference. She also won Team MVP and the Scholar Award.

Kleiner received her Bachelor of Arts degree in exercise and sport science from Carthage in 2015. She also earned a Master of Arts in leadership in teaching from Carthage in 2017.
