New Jersey Institute of Technology, a NCAA Division I institution and a member of the America East Conference located in the University Heights district of Newark, NJ, is accepting applications for the position of Women’s Basketball Operations/Assistant Coach.

Under the direction of the Head Women’s Basketball Coach, this position will aid with on-court training, competition preparation, and in-game coaching of the Women’s Basketball team but will not be a designated off-campus recruiter.

In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for the daily administrative operations of the program.

Responsibilities include coordinating all aspects of team travel, managing team travel expenses & providing business support, and scheduling practices & facilities.  Additional duties include oversight of equipment inventory & purchases, managing the student managers, and organizing community service & alumni initiatives.   Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.   This individual must be committed to NCAA & University rules compliance.

Essential qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and collegiate athletic or coaching experience.   All applications must demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, process working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations, and demonstrate a commitment of student athlete welfare and athletics excellence in a rigorous academic environment.
