The position will report to the Women’s Basketball Head Coach for coaching responsibilities and the Dean of Science related to the Liaison position. Essential coaching duties include but are not limited to the following:

• • Assist the head coach with player development, social media, recruitment, retention, and camp;
  • Strategize and implement, an engaging social media presence consistent with the culture and brand of BVU and the Women’s Basketball Program;
  • Conduct camps to provide a community outreach for teams and promote the sport of women’s basketball;
  • Fulfill duties at Academic Recruitment and Retention Liaison: Science;
  • Develop and present team scouting reports;
  • Assist head coach in practice development;

• Assist in planning strategy for games;
• Assist with the prevention and treatment of athletic injuries;

• • Actively recruit student athletes;

• Actively participate in a plan to enhance community relations;

• • Track the progress of players in all classes;
  • Teach fundamental skills and drills;
  • Background in exercise science, kinesiology, and/or strength and conditioning is preferred:

• Establish and maintain an ethical and moral code of behavior and living

• Perform other tasks as requested by the Head Coach, Recruiting Coordinator, Director of Athletics to include, but not limited to, camps/clinics, skills; as well as fulfill main duties of the paid position of Academic Recruitment and Retention Liaison: Science
