VMI is accepting applications for a part-time Director of Basketball Operations for the 2015-16 academic year. This is an outstanding opportunity to advance in the Basketball coaching and administration field. The Director of Basketball Operations manages overall operations of the VMI Basketball program. Specific duties with the Basketball team include the following: â?¢ Responsible for team travel, lodging and meals â?¢ Responsible for film â?? (exchange, edits, equipment) â?¢ Organizes scouting reports of opposition teams â?¢ Organizes play book (for Coaches) â?¢ Organizes drill book (for Coaches) â?¢ Oversees team managers â?¢ Coordinates camps and clinics â?¢ Assists with community service projects â?¢ Organizes and communicates the weekly schedule â?¢ Performs additional organizational duties given by the Head Coach.
