Description:	Regional Event Director The Regional Event Director is an entry level paid position. The job will run from December/January to July with the chance to become a year round position. The main role of this position will be to develop and promote various youth basketball events. Job Roles Promote and handle sales for exposure showcases and tournaments Develop relationships with area high school and grassroots coaches Promote the company brand through social media channels Develop, run, and operate your own events Handle all operations in the running of events About You Self motivated and extremely driven Recent graduate with a degree in business, sports management, or a related field Outgoing personality and interpersonal skills Have knowledge of youth basketball camps, showcases, and tournaments Strong desire to work in the sports field Ability to work independently as well as with a team Regional Basketball Scout The scout will work with our scouting service to cover recruitment news as well as high school girls basketball games. This is a seasonal and part-time position. Looking for scouts in Indiana, Wisconsin, and Illinois. Some of the roles will include; Attending and covering area high school basketball games Writing articles on high school and grassroots games Following players recruitment news About You Good knowledge of basketball Writing skills Reliable transportation Want to work in the basketball world Passion and love for basketball *Midwest Hoops Spotlight is a youth basketball event operator and scouting service based in Schaumburg, IL.*
