The Head Women’s Basketball Coach reports to the Director of Athletics and is responsible for the administration and management of the women’s basketball program. Westminster College is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA II) and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. This role supports student success by promoting intercollegiate athletics as an integral part of the college learning environment and supporting the academic success of student-athletes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Recruitment and retention of qualified student athletes
• Supervise and hire assistant(s)
• Budgeting, scheduling, and travel arrangements
• Organize and supervise practices
• Event management assistance as needed
• Order and maintain all equipment
• Compliance with institutional, conference and national governing regulations
• Assist with fundraising and outreach efforts for program
• Student-athlete mentoring and welfare
• Perform all responsibilities with the highest ethical standards consistent with the College’s mission, vision and values which include diversity, equity and inclusion
• Perform other duties as assigned
