Organizing and administering all aspects of the Western State Colorado University Women’s Basketball program including but not limited to oversight of: recruiting qualified student-athletes, fostering and supporting student-athlete welfare, practice and competition scheduling, coaching athletes in practice and games, supervision of coaching staff, managing programs fiscal budget, conducting and managing all facets of camps, cultivating alumni, direct involvement working with programs specific fundraising, as well as participation in Athletic Department fundraising. Knowledge of NCAA Division II rules and regulations as well as specific NCAA and RMAC conference basketball regulations, must become NCAA DII recruiting certified, ability to effectively coach student athletes, establish good rapport and relationships with players, administrators, staff, alumni, and general public. Must have proven administrative, organizational and recruiting skills. Limited other duties may be assigned.
