Responsible for providing leadership, planning, organizing and for administering all aspects of the Western’s Women’s Basketball program including but not limited to: providing strong leadership, fostering and supporting student-athlete welfare, recruiting highly qualified student-athletes, practice and competition scheduling, coaching athletes in practice and games, maintenance of a strong academic environment, supervision of coaching staff, maintaining budget, conducting and managing all facets of camps, cultivate alumni, direct involvement working with program specific fund-raising as well as participation in Athletic Department fund-raising. Limited other duties may be assigned.

Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s Degree preferred. Five years collegiate Basketball coaching experience preferred. Knowledge of NCAA Division II Basketball practices and regulations, must become NCAA II recruiting certified, ability to establish good rapport and relationships with players, administrators, staff, alumni and the general public. Must have proven administrative, organizational and recruiting skills.
