Job Purpose: The purpose of this position is to teach, mentor, develop, and monitor student athletes on the women’s basketball team. Also monitors and answers any questions students may have while using the fitness center.

Essential Job Functions:

• Leads the women’s basketball program regarding coaching tactics and responsible for all women’s basketball players. Also provides assistance with recruiting efforts both during the basketball season and in the off-season. Schedules transportation and food for players and staff during games which require travel. Provides tutoring and academic support for student athletes if required.
• Assumes responsibility for the fitness center on campus, including cleaning weights, coaching/instruction on form and technique, picking up weights after team workouts, and leading team exercises.
