The Head Women’s Basketball Coach position is a 12-month, limited appointment. The head coach is responsible for organizing and directing of all operations of the UW-River Falls women’s basketball program.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred

* Coaching and/or competitive playing experience at the high school or collegiate level

* Experience recruiting and retaining a diverse group of successful student-athletes

* Strong commitment to the academic achievements of the student-athlete

* Demonstrated commitment to student-athlete character development

* Ability to communicate and organize with student-athletes within the rules and regulations of UWRF, WIAC and NCAA DIII

* Ability to work well within a diverse staff and environment

* Ability to set challenging goals and seek continuous improvement

* Ability to contribute to a positive work environment

* Ability to demonstrate leadership characteristics within athletics and throughout the university
