The Athletic Department’s Search Committee seeks a Head Women’s Basketball Coach with integrity, vision, and a commitment to the comprehensive development and success of the programs and its individual student-athletes. Bachelor’s degree a minimum of 5 years coaching experience (preferably at the NCAA Division l or comparable level) are required. In addition, the candidate should present the following qualifications: · Significant knowledge of basketball, as well as proven success in coaching at the collegiate or equivalent level; · Demonstrated commitment to the safety, welfare, personal development, and academic success of student-athletes; · Commitment to and compliance with the principles and bylaws of the NCAA, policies, and procedures of the ACC, the University and the Athletic Department, as well as a demonstrated record of ethical decision making and sound-level judgment within a fast-paced and competitive environment; · Demonstrated ability to manage, lead, and hire a qualified staff of coaches as well as recruit, develop, and motivate Division I student-athletes; · Demonstrated ability to build and manage effective relationships with prospective student-athletes, current student-athletes, university administrators, staff, alumni, donors, community, and other internal and external constituents; and · Commitment to comply fully with the mission statements of the University and the Department and a strong commitment to the academic success of student-athletes

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years’ coaching experience (preferably at the NCAA Division l or comparable level) is required. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted per university guidelines.
