Position Summary
The Head Women’s Basketball coach is responsible for all aspects in leading a competitive NCAA Division I women’s basketball program to include, but not limited to: coaching (practice and in-game), recruiting, meeting NCAA APR requirements, fundraising, positive encouragement towards student-athlete development, scheduling, and hiring staff. The head women’s basketball coach must be fully committed to all NCAA, Southland Conference, and University of the Incarnate Word Athletics Department policies and procedures, and will be expected to work cooperatively with all constituencies and campus units.

This position is considered a “Responsible Employee” under University of the Incarnate Word’s Sexual Misconduct Policy with reporting responsibilities as set out in the policy.
