The head coach is responsible for all aspects of the Women’s Basketball program, including, but not limited to: practice preparation, skill instruction, on-court coaching, player development, recruiting, budget management, team travel, scheduling, academic success and student-athlete welfare.

This is a full-time position with a 9.5-month (8/15-5/31) obligation.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree

Three years’ experience coaching Women’s Basketball at the college level

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sport Management, Exercise Science or related field.

Supervisory experience or evidence of ability to recruit and select staff, encourage professional growth, communicate and delegate duties, analyze staff effectiveness, evaluate assistants, problem-solve, lead a staff who bring skill and integrity to the program, and maintain discipline, morale and cooperation.
