South Dakota Mines is seeking qualified candidates for the Head Women’s Basketball Coaching position. This will include hiring, supervising and evaluating staff assistants. Additionally, the Head Basketball Coach will be charged with formulating and executing a recruiting plan to attract qualified student-athletes that are academically qualified to gain admittance into South Dakota Mines and athletically qualified to compete at the NCAA D-II level. The Head Women’s Basketball Coach will be directly responsible for all facets of running an NCAA D-II basketball program which includes, but is not limited to, coaching, game plan development, working with the head strength coach to develop a weight program, budget management, purchasing, scheduling, recruiting, and promoting a strong academic environment within the basketball program. Other assigned duties may be required as delegated by Athletic Director. This is a 12-month benefited position at 100% effort from July 22 to May 21 and 50% effort from May 22 to July 21.
