Skidmore College’s Athletics, Fitness and Recreation Department invites applicants for a full-time, regular (10 month) Head Women’s Basketball Coach position. As a NCAA Division III Institution competing in the Liberty League conference, Skidmore College offers 19 varsity sports (9 for men, 10 for women.) Responsibilities include, but are not limited to coaching a highly competitive women’s basketball program with oversight for all aspects of the program such as scheduling, recruitment of student athletes, travel, fiscal planning, etc. Additionally, the successful candidate must also be qualified to assume teaching duties within the Physical Activity Program and/or home game management duties. The ability to interact comfortably with individuals and constituency groups (student-athletes, alumni, coaches, parents, etc.) is crucial to the advancement of athletics at Skidmore. Anticipated start date will be July 1, 2018.
