Siena College, a NCAA Division I institution and member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), is seeking applications for the Head Women’s Basketball Coach. The head coach will be responsible for the daily management and administration of all phases of the Division I women’s basketball program in accordance with all NCAA, MAAC and College regulations.

Specific responsibilities will include, but not be limited to planning and conducting practices; evaluation and recruitment of qualified student athletes; individual player skill development and team performance development; monitoring academic progress; coordinating services to the team with other department support areas; scheduling games and management of the program’s budget. The head coach will be responsible for a staff of assistants and will be expected to work cooperatively and closely with student services such as sports medicine, strength and conditioning and academic advising. The head coach is expected to work with department personnel to promote and market the women’s basketball team to the community and be involved with team, department and college fundraising initiatives. The position requires extensive media, community and public relations activity. Knowledge of and adherence to NCAA, conference and college rules and regulations are required.
