Provide instruction, leadership and evaluation to varsity sport student-athletes. Recruit prospective students to the university.  Planning, organization, administration and supervision for all aspects of the women’s basketball program.  Secondary duties as assigned, which will include some form of event management and other activities devoted to the development of our students.  Travel to and from athletic events and community service activities.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Liberal Studies, Business or a related field and 3-5 years of related experience. Previous college coaching experience required. Must have a strong knowledge of the rules and regulations of NCAA women’s basketball. Must be CPR/First Aid Certified.

Must be detail oriented and have excellent analytical, customer service, organization and planning, prioritization, problem solving, follow through, time management and oral and written communication skills.  Also, must be flexible and possess the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and work well under pressure, work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Must have sensitivity to a diverse population and the ability effectively motivate student-athletes.  Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree preferred.

This is a full-time, exempt, State position with a full benefits packages.  Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
