Rogers State University is now accepting applications for the Head Women’s Basketball Coach position.

Position Summary:

The Head Women’s Basketball Coach is responsible for the management and administration of all phases of the women’s basketball program. The Head Women’s Basketball Coach is expected to adhere to the philosophy and objectives of the Department of Athletics.

 Primary Duties:

• Ability to recruit quality student athletes who can excel in both athletics and academics.
• Develop practice and game strategies which will allow the team to be successful.
• Ensure an atmosphere of compliance with all institutional, conference, and national association rules and regulations.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics or the President of the University.

Secondary Duties:

• Develop and adhere to an annual budget for the women’s basketball program.
• Participate in public relations activities, speaking engagements, and interviews.
• Support and participate in fundraising initiatives for the Department of Athletics under the direction of the Director of Athletics.
• Develop a competitive schedule and coordinate travel details for road contests.
