Plymouth State University seeks a dynamic leader to join the Athletics department as our Head Coach of Women’s Basketball. Reporting to the Director of Athletics, the Head Coach will be charged with the administration and oversight of an NCAA Division III basketball program that participates in the Little East Conference. This is part-time non benefitted position.

The successful candidate should have a proven ability to recruit and develop student-athletes and have a strong commitment to the Division III philosophy and the Plymouth State University mission.

Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Direct all aspect of coaching varsity women’s basketball team

• Recruit and retain qualified student-athletes

• Plan and conduct practice sessions

• Become familiar with and adhere to all NCAA and Little East Conference rules

• Establish and uphold a positive team culture

Preferred Qualifications: 

• 1-2 years College Basketball Coaching Experience
• 3-5 years coaching experience
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Demonstrated Organizational Skills
• Working knowledge of NCAA III
