Coaches and instructs student athletes, improving skill, sport performance and leadership. Develops student athletes intellectually, physically, socially, academically, and interpersonally by implementing the values of intercollegiate athletics and appropriate pedagogy.

Coordinates and implements the activities of an assigned intercollegiate athletic program (i.e. NJCAA Division 1, NIRA) including student recruiting, retention, fundraising, and eligibility, Administers activities consistent with the goals and objectives of the Athletic Program.

Performs administrative tasks such as organizing, scheduling and supervising practice sessions, scheduling games, coordinating team travel, ordering and maintaining inventory of equipment, and adhering to established budgets.

Works collaboratively with faculty and staff to monitor the academic progress of student athletes and provide support.

Recruits and retains quality student athletes by identifying program needs and promoting Northwest College.

Collaborates with national, state, professional and local civic organizations.
