| Description: | Part-time position (20 hours per week in season; 10 hours per week out of season); anticipated salary $11,000 ($5500 fall season, $5500 spring season). Under general supervision, the Women’s Basketball Head Coach will be in charge of all aspects of the Women’s basketball program, including recruitment of quality student athletes, retention, fundraising, conditioning programs, organizing and planning practices and game strategies, and assisting in scheduling contests and coordinating travel. The coach is expected to contribute to the educational mission of the University by offering direction and instruction in the sport of Women’s Basketball. NVU coaches ensure the development of both the student and the athlete. |
