New College of Florida is launching a new collegiate women’s basketball program that will compete with some of the best competition in the NCAA and NAIA. We are looking for a basketball head coach who will lead the program based around our athletic department core values.

Areas of responsibilities include:

• Recruitment of assistant coaches
• Attracting student-athletes
• Budget management
• Practice and game planning execution
• Creating game schedules

The incumbent will work with the Director of Athletics (DA) to implement a vision for New College basketball including but not limited to:

• Daily practice plans
• Innovative statistical analysis
• Building a championship culture for the program.
• Creating / Coaching a full slate of college games in Florida
• Lead player mentorship – work with the student-athletes and lead a mentorship program to help our students
• Recruitment of assistant coaches
• Attracting student athletes who line up with our rigorous academic standards
• Practice and game planning execution
• Creating game schedules
