Monmouth University is seeking applications for a Head Coach of Women’s Basketball in the Athletics department.

The candidate would be expected to: develop individual players, scout opponents, prepare practice, game participation, game coaching; evaluation and recruitment of academically qualified student-athletes in accordance and compliance with the NCAA rules and regulations; all aspects of the recruiting process including, but not limited to, telephone contact, mailings, school visits, home visits, and electronic correspondence.

Required Degree, License or Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree, Valid Automobile Driver’s License in your state of principal residence, CPR and NCAA recruiting certification must be attained within six months from date of hire

Required Skills or Software:
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, Must be able to treat confidential and sensitive information appropriately, Must have an understanding of the University’s concern for academics as well as athletic excellence

Required Years of Experience: 3

Other Requirements:
Computer literacy. Three years of basketball coaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level.

Preferred Qualifications:
Proven recruiter. Experience coordinating recruiting efforts. Head Coach experience or assistant coach experience at a higher level.
