The Head Women’s Basketball Coach is responsible for all facets of conducting a successful women’s basketball program at the NCAA Division I level.

Duties include on the court coaching during practice and competition; recruiting of quality student-athletes; game preparation; administration of operating budget; supervision of assistants or grad assistants; fundraising; promotional and public relations activities; speaking engagements and media interviews; knowledge of and compliance with all NCAA, conference and university rules and regulations; direct and coordinate the planning, organizing, and coaching of the Mississippi Valley State University’s women’s basketball team; provide leadership and instruction in the personal and athletic development of student-athletes at Mississippi Valley State University; study, evaluate and implement innovations in basketball strategy and equipment; and demonstrate professional integrity. Attend departmental staff meetings as established. Performs other related duties as assigned by the Athletic Director as deemed necessary to aid in efficient operations of the department.
