Mid-Plains Community College is now accepting applications for the position of Part-Time Head Women’s Basketball Coach in McCook. This person will: oversee all aspects of a successful college women’s basketball team including recruitment, practice plans, game strategy, and strength training. Successful applicants should possess high quality coaching techniques including demonstrated excellent sportsmanship, a commitment to success in the classroom, and the ability to interact with the community. Bachelor’s degree required, basketball coaching at the high school or college level preferred.

Qualifications: We need a positive, strategic, team building individual who can manage student athletes, plan practices, games, and travel, and execute effective game strategy, as well as recruit strong student athletes and have a significant presence in the community. Bachelor’s Degree required, while a combination of coaching and work experience is recommended. Applicants should have a passion for developing student athletes on and off the court and promote a strong foundation for next level play and transferability.
