The Head Coach will be responsible for all aspects of developing, leading, and managing a NCAA Division II Varsity program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to coaching of student athletes recruiting, evaluation of talent, team conditioning, practice and game management, monitoring academic progress, scheduling of contests, development and management of program budgets, supervision and evaluation staff members.

Key roles and responsibilities are:
– Supervise and instruct student-athletes participating in women’s intercollegiate;
– Development and implementation of practice plans;
– Recruitment of student-athletes in compliance with NCAA legislation, East Coast Conference, and Mercy College policy;
– Monitor student athlete academic progress.;
– Coordinate and oversee pre-season conditioning and weight training programs;
– Provide and implement plan for player development;
– Schedule fall and spring contests and practices;
– Assist in development and oversight of program’s operating budget;
– Coordinate team travel;
– Coordinate all officiating needs;
– Develop and coordinate fundraising activities;
– Assist in coordinating alumni event and activities
– Coordinate the hiring of assistant coaches
– Maintain knowledge of all applicable NCAA, Conference, and institutional rules, policies, bylaws, etc.
