| Description: | The Women’s Basketball Coach/Instructor has overall responsibility for the Program and for teaching courses as assigned.
In addition, the Basketball Coach is responsible for recruiting student athletes, organizing and conducting
workouts, maintaining playing facilities, scheduling games, managing budget and equipment resources, for administering scholarship awards to the student athlete, facilitating the academic and athletic development of student-athletes, and for other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of three years basketball coaching experience at the high school level or above is required.
The successful applicant must demonstrate a strong knowledge and understanding of basketball and effective coaching principles and practices. In addition, a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required, a
Master’s Degree preferred. A Master’s with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in an academic discipline is required to teach. The desire and aptitude to help students achieve their educational goals and objectives are a must.
