Frostburg State University Athletics Department is seeking a full-time Head Coach Women’s Basketball for the FSU Bobcat women’s basketball program. Salary based on qualifications and experience. This is a 12-month appointment and includes the robust University System of Maryland benefits package options.

FSU boasts 22 varsity sports (10 men/12 women). The women’s basketball program began in 1964-65 season and just completed its third year in the Mountain East Conference as a part of NCAA Division II. The program has amassed 729 wins overall and six NCAA postseason appearances.

Responsibilities: The head women’s basketball coach position administers all aspects of all aspects of the women’s basketball program. The head coach position will manage and oversee the daily operations of the basketball program including practice, gameday activities, recruiting, budget management, manage grant & aid, academic monitoring and mentoring of student-athletes. The head coach will recruit and retain a roster of 18 student-athletes on the women’s basketball team. These student-athletes are expected to be successful in the classroom, socially responsible, and competitive within the Mountain East Conference and NCAA Division II. Conduct assigned duties in accordance with all University System of Maryland, Frostburg State University, NCAA, and Conference Affiliate policies and procedures.
