Florida State College at Jacksonville is accepting application for a full-time Head Coach for its’ women’s basketball program. The Head Coach provides leadership, supervision and coaching to the Women's Basketball intercollegiate athletic team of the College.  The Coach directs training and practice programs for the team, and teaches skills and strategies to student athletes. An employee in this position monitors the academic progress of team members, and arranges for appropriate guidance and/or assistance to contribute to the academic success of the student athletes.

At a minimum the selected candidate will have an Associate’s degree from an accredited institution supplemented by a minimum of five (5) years of related coaching experience. Additionally the preferred candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree from and accredited institution supplemented by successful recruiting experience, the ability to
develop talent and assist students to the next level and the ability to assist student athletes with academic success.
