Under direction of the Chief Instructional Officer (CIO), this position is responsible to teach related HES classes (includes 50% assignment to teach intercollegiate basketball and other classes as assigned). Under general direction of the Director of Athletic Operations and Events, this position is responsible to coordinate, recruit, plan, organize and coach a community college intercollegiate women’s basketball program (includes 50% assignment release time to coach, recruit, and plan an intercollegiate women’s basketball team, includes weekends and evenings as required during fall and spring semesters). Master’s in physical education, education with an emphasis in physical education, kinesiology, physiology of exercise, or adaptive physical education OR Bachelor’s in any of the above AND Master’s in any life science, dance, physiology, health education, recreation administration, or physical therapy OR A current California Community College Credential that permits full-time service as an instructor in physical education, OR the equivalent.
