Eastern Florida State College is currently seeking applications for the full-time position of Head Coach, Women’s Basketball on the Melbourne Campus in Melbourne, Florida.

The Head Coach will oversee the women’s basketball program in all facets from recruiting, teaching, mentoring, monitoring academic success and administration.

The following minimum qualifications for this position must be met before any applicant will be considered:

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally-accredited institution
• At least three years of coaching on the collegiate level as an Assistant or Head coach
• Knowledge of NJCAA rules
• High energy, great teacher of the game, passion for the sport
• Professional demeanor and public relation skills
• Able to work as a team player within the Athletics Department and with faculty and staff
• Valid Florida Motor Vehicle Operator’s license required (able to get one if outside the state)
• This position will require successful fingerprinting and the candidate chosen will be required to pay the associated fee (currently $36.00)
