Position Purpose

To lead, coach, develop and administer all aspects of the women’s basketball program within NCAA, Ivy League, and institutional standards.

Bachelor’s degree

Required Qualifications – Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

• A minimum of 6 years experience coaching basketball or the equivalent.
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of technical and strategic aspects of the game of basketball.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituents in a diverse community.
• Ability to teach, lead, motivate and guide student-athletes.
• Ability to recruit effectively with no athletic grants-in-aid and highly selective admissions standards.
• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
• Commitment to diversity and to serving the needs of a diverse population.
