The Department of Athletics’ primary mission is to develop and maintain a top-quality Division II intercollegiate athletics program that is committed to providing a positive and fulfilling academic and athletic experience for all student-athletes. As a member of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) and the NCAA Division II, CSU-Pueblo Athletics plays a supporting role in the higher education mission while enhancing a sense of community, strengthening our identity and playing a prominent role in enrollment management for the University. The University recently completed a new visioning process, entitled Vision 2028, which will establish CSU-Pueblo as the people’s university of the southwest United States by 2028. This full-time, twelve-month position provides a head coach for the women’s basketball program in athletics. This position will provide overall organization and management of the women’s basketball program and will direct and be responsible for all areas, including: coaching, practices & workouts, recruiting, scouting, scheduling, coordinating travel, planning and monitoring the women’s basketball budget, monitoring player academics, organizing and managing summer camps and clinics, monitoring NCAA compliance, promoting the women’s basketball program, developing fund raising opportunities for the women’s basketball program and other duties assigned by the director of athletics.
