Description:

Calvin College invites applications for a Head Women’s Basketball Coach. Head coaching responsibilities include, but are not limited to, adhering to NCAA/MIAA bylaws, staff management, budget management, practice planning and game preparation, coordinating team travel, coordinating on and off campus recruiting, student-athlete evaluation, in game coaching, and daily operations. Other duties will be assigned within the Kinesiology department based on needs and qualifications and may include teaching, event or facility administration, or other responsibilites.

Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree in Kinesiology preferred, at least three years of high-level basketball coaching experience, and knowledge of NCAA DIII policies and regulations. A commitment to the development of student athletes and their spiritual, academic, and athletic growth is essential. Excellent communication skills, a passion for recruiting, and experience working with a diverse student community are required.
