The Head Basketball Coach is responsible for organizing and administering all phases of the basketball program, including but not limited to player skill and leadership development, the recruitment of outstanding scholar-athletes, practice organization, game day coaching, budget management, and scheduling and supervision of an assistant coach. Teaching in the physical education and wellness curriculum is also expected. An appreciation and understanding of the role athletics and physical education play in a rigorous academic setting is essential.
