The head women’s basketball coach is responsible for the recruitment and retention of quality student-athletes. The head coach, in addition to all the requirements detailed in the Responsibilities and Duties section, is recognized as pivotal to, and responsible for, the record of the program as it relates to competitive scheduling, university/community relations and the enhancement and academic achievement of the student-athletes.

In addition, this position has responsibilities in organizing career service initiatives for student-athletes including resume writing workshops, interview skills workshops and mentoring opportunities.
