Description:	The University of Vermont is accepting applications for the position of Head Women’s Basketball Coach. The head coach is responsible for all phases of a highly competitive NCAA Division I women’s basketball program including, but not limited to, practice and game preparation, recruiting, hiring and supervision of assistant coaches, budget management, alumni and public relations, and adherence to the rules of the NCAA, America East, and the University of Vermont. The candidate must be committed to student-athletes’ academic, personal, and athletic growth and development, and demonstrate the ability to successfully recruit and motivate Division I student-athletes. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; at least five years of collegiate coaching experience, preferably at the Division I level (or the equivalent), extensive recruiting experience and contacts; strong communication and interpersonal skills; a record of integrity and leadership; a demonstrated commitment to issues of social justice and diversity and a commitment to the academic success and graduation of student-athletes.
