Head Women’s Basketball Coach in the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.

Exampled of Work Performed:

• Responsible for the program operation, coaching, management of staff, and recruitment of student athletes.

• Evaluate prospective student-athletes.

• Develop and maintain correspondence for prospective student-athletes. Schedule, coordinate and supervise official and unofficial visits of prospective student-athletes.

• Supervise National Letter of Intent Signing and Athletic Financial Aid Contracts.

• Monitor academic performance of student-athletes.

• Insure compliance with all UCCS and NCAA regulations regarding academic eligibility requirements.

• Train varsity women’s basketball teams for intercollegiate competition at a nationally competitive level.

• Develop and implement 5 year, annual, seasonal, monthly, weekly and daily plan for practice and development.

• Develop and implement game plan.

• Maintain and increase knowledge of basketball training and coaching techniques.

• Supervise the training, development and placement of staff personnel.

• Plan and coordinate Division II women’s basketball schedule within NCAA, Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and institutional guidelines.

• Supervise home game administration.

• Plan and coordinate team travel and lodging.

For the purposes of FLSA this position has been determined to be exempt from (not eligible for) overtime under FLSA.

Salary Range: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00
