The position is full-time and includes teaching up to two classes each year along with assumption of other head women’s basketball coaching duties, as well as the duties commensurate with full-time faculty status. The position carries full fringe benefits of University employment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: managing all aspects of coaching women’s basketball (i.e., thorough knowledge of the sport, coaching strategies, teaching skills, techniques, and player development); program planning and organization; recruitment of prospective student-athletes; ability to serve as a spiritual mentor and lead weekly Bible study; and ensure compliance with NAIA, Appalachian Athletic Conference, and Truett McConnell University rules and policies.
