The Head Women’s Basketball Coach position in Athletics is responsible for providing leadership for the women’s basketball sports program; ensuring the program complies with the overall objectives of Troy University and the Department of Athletics; ensuring the program adheres to all applicable NCAA, conference and institutional rules and regulations; management of the daily activities of the women’s basketball program; teaching and instructing the sport for practice and competition; recommending the scheduling of all contests under the guidelines and program scope; recognizing the importance of promoting the sport to the general public; directing the academic progress of all student-athletes on the squad; ensuring that each participant has been cleared for eligibility for practice and/or competition; demonstrating good sportsmanship and the highest level of personal integrity; and acting as an ambassador of Troy University and its Athletics Department.
